Too many players playing those time controls in the under 2000 bracket, especially close to 1000 elo, so elo is meaningless. I've said it a million times, the elo bracket on this site is absolutely broken in terms of actual playing strength, and the lower you go the worse it becomes.
Im playing against under 900 elo players who play at 40 centipawn loss or lower. Some even in their 20s. And they are not even 1000 elo rated on this site. Makes absolutely no sense.

different actual strength. Players with 1100 classical chess rating would have their rapid close to that value, but their blitz about 200 points lower. I've seen someone with a 1500 rapid rating but a 900 blitz rating.

I win a lot of blitz chess games in Titled Tuesday blitz chess online tournament elo bracket is broken I KILL the 2500+ rated “grandmasters” and went on to beat them all except for Hikaru and Magnus, who still won.
I wish I could play 1|60 with quick matching to players only abit higher than me but when I play 1|60 my opponents never arrive and when they do they are FIDE tournament players with 1500-1700 FIDE rating and 1650-1900 rapid rating.
In 3 minute I am just over 1700 on here and 1800 on Chess Universe app but my fide rating is 1900 so there may be some truth in the statement
