I read an article about relentlessly checking the king with rook, and the reason why it’s a brilliant move is because of the king captures the rook, it’s a draw, so the king is forced to move away to keep the game going.

Chess.com changed the calculations/ definitions since this thread was started.
It was definitedly 38 when this thread started.
the amount of checkmate white missed was insane
