AREA 52 - EVOLUTION.
Area 52 is unlike ANY other group on chess.com & I can assure you, you will be in good company.
Our membership is based on three important directives:
1. Area 52 has a rolling membership of 1,000,052 people
As every new member joins, the current member who contributes/participates the least will be removed from the group. This way the group doesn't just blindly grow - it evolves. Eventually Area 52 may consist of 1,000,052 dedicated players, all of whom are irreplaceable. Should this ever be the case, membership will be locked and no further members will be accepted.
2. Area 52’s top three ranked players will automatically be promoted to 'Super Admin'. This is more a mark of respect & recognition. They are not obliged to play an active Admin role.
3. If ANY member, regardless of their rating, believes they have a little something extra to offer they can request an 'Admin Trial' and will be given the opportunity to show their talents.
