Chess960 (or FischerRandom) is simply chess but the back ranks are randomized in the same way. The 960 comes from the possible starting positions with certain rules. •King Must be Between Rooks. •Bishops must be on different colors. Castling is a little weird because instead of the king moving 2 squares, The king ends up in in the same position as in regular chess.
