Morphy v Capablanca 1916 Rematch | New York City | Round 8 | 1-0
Really? Clearly not Paul as he died in 1884
Capablanca was playing in the Rice Memorial Tournament
97% got this chess puzzle wrong! Are you the 4%?

Wow! Did not see that; I'm part of the 97% or is it 96%? Since 97 + 4 = 101, I'm not in that 4% crowd. OP great at chess, math, not so much . . .

Actually, if you use a desktop browser to access the Stockfish 9 on this site, it finds both 1.Ree5! and 1.Rf4+ as winning in a few minutes.
It's possible to eliminate the unwanted 1.Rf4+ solution by starting the e1-R on e6 instead, though this means 1.Re5! is a bit less surprising as it stops 1...Qa1+.
Where did Morphy get a TM just to play like a 2600?
Good question. Perhaps we need to find that machine to go ask Morphy that very question. 2600 is "strong" - but not even world championship caliber anymore; Morphy should have first went into the future to learn how to be a 3500+ or so player first right? Then even Stockfish, Komodo, and the others would be put to shame.
