The other day something strange, grotesque, happened to me. Something you will not believe. It is a shame I did not take a photograph, because you may think what I saw was a hallucination, when it was not.
I was in a shopping center (Americans: mall) for reasons you do not need to know. Then, suddenly, I saw a poster on the wall. I could not believe it at first. It was Magnus Carlsen's face! What was that doing there? Since when are chess players good at advertising anything? Since when do ordinary people know about them? Who would buy clothes advertised by Carlsen?
All those questions popped up in my mind, at the same time. I started to think I had not looked properly, when I read his name in the poster. It was real!
