Wow, what an amazing rule. Undecided

A question here:  Why does everyone bite on crap that's been posted and reposted over and over again instead of ignoring trolls and responding to posts that have real content?

Si-Eric

Because 98% of all people who have posted here haven't even read my first post!!!

I assume you are making a joke, otherwise you need to brush up your chess rules.

kyleleggat

OP is out of his mind, knight takes king game over.

What he doesn't realize is that the check/checkmate system works exactly how it would if the king could be taken, and the first one to take the king wins the game. He, instead, not understanding the logic behind the rules, wants to either create nonsensical rules or... well, troll.

Actually, "pinned" is just a convention for the knight. It just means that moving the knight would result in losing the game (by losing the king). But that loses its meaning when you allow a king to be lost before the one which is pinning the knight!

That rule is very similar to my uncle's rule that a king may check another king, but the checked king cannot take the checking king. It's pure misunderstanding of the logic of the game. I think you should do some brain exercises like math or just pure logical reasoning to practice your ability to understand simple logical concepts.

Thank you for acknowledging that trolling and being stupid are two different things! That's something that a lot of people who accuse me of being stupid just don't understand.

Actually, you need to be smart to be a good troll.

kyleleggat

why cant you take the bishop the knight is pinned!!!!!!!!!!!

On a site note, it is also hard to explain someone what trolling actually is.

Just to be absolutely sure.

According to your logic, the white king can capture the black queen now? Because the black rook cannot take the white king because he is pinned by the white rook.

Do you agree here?

kyleleggat

you cant take the black queen with your king because of the black rook is defending the black queen that would be CHECKMATE GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!

And you realize the knight in the first post is defending the bishop? And that the king therefore cannot capture this bishop?

Both positions tackle the same problem. The piece you want to capture with the king are both protected by an absolute pinned piece, yet you give two different answers.

CrimsonKnight7

Well the rule that states you can't intentionally put your King in check isn't going to change. I got a better one than that one though, how about I always win regardless. Sorry jk, lighten up.

AlxMaster

Just think about chess exactly as it would be if you could take the king and the first player to take the king wins the game, and you will understand the logic behind all rules.
