A fast 10 min. game

I just played a guy in a 10/0 game.  I used up 2 min. 13 secs; he used up 2 mins. 58 secs.  Of course in moving so fast, the moves on both sides weren't always, if ever, the best ones.  I can't explain why, given 10 minutes, neither of us took advantage of all the extra time, but he goofed more than I did. The mate itself was kind of funny.

He played poorly. You played well. End of story.

Thanks.  I actually put it here because I like middle-of-the-board mates.  I just think my opponent, if not myself too, should have used some of his surplus time to think.

Uh, BG, if I may point out, it was a 10 minute game; is thinking really an option?

oh, 10 mins. is a lot of time to do some decent calculation.  But neither of us used up even 3 mins.
