I mean you are 100 rating points higher but all in all, yeah, I'm hitting you with the Adkins Attack and you are cooked.
A General Chess Discussion Thread?
Also I'm trying to come up with names for the Variations of the Adkins Attack, so you can help me come up with names for these variations:

You should make one a ridiculously long name
Croton can outplay me in the middlegame but I just slap him with hope chess in the opening and he blunders 💀
I will take the suggestion for the Najdorf Variation, the Fraser Variation, and the Fianchetto Variation, but e5 and e6 I think need better names

E5 is the Adkins Attack central push variation, and if cxe5 it’s the Adkins Attack central push exchange two knights edition. There’s your long name

Same. I have seen other people with it but it’s almost always him. He’s just active I guess.
Maybe, I was thinking e5 could be the Center Counter Variation and if fxe5, it would be the Open Variation then.

..I suggested open variation and you said no…
I mean Open Variation for a different move order. I feel like e5, is more of a strike on the center than opening the position:
Ok you guys where t lieing about najdorf theory, I just played a game with 9 book moves per side and I hadn’t even studied that far!
Just got a book called how to reassess your chess 4th edition and I also saw a cool book at the store called modern chess openings and it seemed very thorough on the Sicilian, have any of you read either book. The reassess your chess book was used and really good deal. is buying a book to learn the Sicilian worth it? I was surprised when I got into chess their selection at the bookstore, they even had a few hundred page book on the alekhine defence of all openings. 👍
I actually have Modern Chess Openings, it's a blue book right? Honestly I wouldn't recommend it, all the top players say it's out of date. Also it's just a bunch of notation and it doesn't actually explain the intricacies of the position
It is the blue book. It said it was updated from something, but I did notice it was 90% notation with just a few explanations. How would you go about learning the Najdorf? I also saw a book called Sicilian tactics but it seemed like mostly puzzles that were many moves deep. How did you learn Najdorf?
I got my friend who is like 1900 FIDE to teach me some of it. Also when i'm bored (like now) I go into stockfish and just plug in a bunch of new lines I wanna try. I think playing the open Sicilian as white as well can boost ur knowledge of the Sicilian in general. OH AND ALSO get Chessbook the app. It's free and it allows u to do really cool stuff, like making an opening repetoire.
Trying out chess book and it seems very affective
But also, you aren't getting a Najdorf against me. I play too offbeat for that.
