are ghosts strong at chess? as far as i remember i don't have any experience in playing against the undead.

@topic, from my experience, once someone puts it in their head that "someone has cheated" it's pretty much impossible to convince them otherwise - only very few people are actually willing to think about it in a reasonable manner.

I don't think it would be impossible for someone to prove they didn't use an engine. but there are other ways people can create unfair circumstances and conditions. like getting someone to sign something that has some tiny clause printed in arabic in invisible ink in .5 font in the lower corner of the last page then calling the person stupid for not having seen and understood it.  not really kosher in my opinion. 

also from my experience ghosts don't exist, but people with advanced exotic tech that can mimic a "paranormal" experience, make a religious irrationally minded person think there's a ghost and then take advantage of this person in some way do. you can google "ghost hunters" if you want proof of their existence.

it isn't really that hard to tell if someone is "using" or not if you take the time to look through a bunch of their games with houdini. if the person is "using" he will eventually be caught and banned from the site. they keep track of these things, but sometimes it takes a bit of time before they are sure.
