I know everybody s gonna yell tactics, but this topic is not about me asking for a way to improve but to reda the reply about a specific way of improving.

I own a chess program Chessmaster. When i play a game ( against something strong player in the game) i can ask for a hint and that would techincally be the chessmaster s move. So i choose the opening and then one move i (with noones help) and one move with a hint ( chessmaster move).

Pros: get to se how to post an attack how to develop pieces and plan in the opening i choose. Proper way to defend as well as attack.

Cons: bye originality. What would i play in this position is lost and in its place its what would chessmaster play in this position...
