Too rude lol... there is always a chance for stalemate so I would say never resign in such endgames! Especially with ratings like the OP (and me) you can get away with such draws in completely winning endgames.

Also there is no "etiquette" to forbid this, it's all in your head OP. A bit arrogant as well to presume what others should be thinking.

If I am ever paired against OP I will play out every game and never resign against him, purely out of principle.
