Abandoning instead of resigning is no trick. Abandoning a game is simply going offline. If your opponent abandons the game, you will still be given rating points and your opponent will also still lose rating points.

Is there a special trick about the abandoning a chess game instead of resigning?
Maybe, Chess com does not take points from the rating? Or what?
Or this is just a bad mood because of the losing int the game?
