It's not possible to cheat the system by aborting, so don't worry about it.

Isn't there a rule that when you abort too much you get sent where you can only play other poor sports? There if you abort you resign, so they will lose the privilege. Shame on those aborting people here.

Yes, but if you keep aborting even after being paired with other poor sports, then you can increase your win rate beyond 100%.
You can win 110% of your games even!
I would not worry about it because you get a higher rating and it doesn't waste more than a few seconds.

Sometimes it does take longer than a few seconds, especially when you are playing less common time controls like 45|45 or even 20|0

I doubt people can abuse this. The site will just give them black again or punish them for too many aborts. Either way I don't care I love playing black and I am not in a skill bracket good enough where first move advantage is such a massive deciding factor.
Plot twist: you actually don't know why they aborted, you will never talk to them again. I start games accidentaly ALL the time, what do I do? I Abort. Sometimes I'm black. As said, no one can play always white, people at your rating probably know that very well.
Sometimes I start a game and then remember of something I had to do. For sure i'm not the only. Aborting is there for a reason, no one is taking advantage of that. If that was true, you are supposed to have more games as black than you do as white, since you play all games.
once i was playing complete darkness and i couldnt see where my king could move and i kept playing complete darkness trying to figure out how to move and it kept aborting and it said i couldnt play any 4 player game for 10 minutes because i aborted to much

The irony is that the more they skew the number of games they've played with the white pieces, the more likely the pairing algorithm is to give them the black pieces the next time around to try and even it up, increasing the number of games they have to abort.
I prefer playing darks
I did this once because I had just learned the Italian opening for white and I wanted to use it right away so I didn’t forget it. When I aborted it just kept on giving me black until finally it wouldn’t let me abort it would just give me the option to resign (which takes away points).

Is that true? I just took a guy's queen on the 3rd move and he resigned, and I didn't get a rating increase.

Daily games are different, whereas normal games only require one move by each player for the game to be rate daily games require 4 moves.
There are a lot of players who don't want to play with the black and every time the game starts they just abort the game. This really annoys the hell out of me. What do you think guys???
