Aborting online games

What are people's thoughts on aborting online games if your opponent has not made a single move and their time is running out? They put out a seek or accept an open seek, then do nothing. I usually abort the game when their time is running out because I think they must have made a mistake in accepting the game, and I don't care to get extra rating points on games that never were played.

I think the games automatically abort if each side has only made one move or less and the clock runs out.

I've learned that some people abort immediately as soon as they see that I've disabled chat permanently (since one of them has been so friendly to inform me of this fact via a notice). Maybe there are some other reasons that cause people to discontinue playing their current opponent (don't like the avatar, don't like the nationality, whatever :)

Pretty sure there's an abort button available for the first few moves.  Don't you see one?
