You can resign instead. No one deserves to waste their time being matched with you if you refuse to play. Just resign and you will not be penalised for aborting games.
Aborting... too often, why a problem?

Please hear me out. There are times when I do not feel like playing players from certain countries. IT is nothing wrong with that yet chess.com has an issue with it. If I want to abort games until I feel I have been paired to my liking there should not be an issue with it. I most certainly do not mind for anyone to abort on me if they do not feel like having a game with me even if we are paired a few times in a row (which does happen).
Your thoughts without stating as if it is prejudiced to not play certain countries. It is a chess game, after all, a game. Thanks.
Why do you not want to play certain player from other countries? Scared of russians being better then you are?

True and I have since it is the only option available after a while. I don't consider it waste of time. I can't count how many times I have been paired and aborted on. Could care less to be honest.

hahaha... look, man, if you look at my rating it's not about that at all. In fact, I have had great games against Russian players. Some players have very boring games tho, to me at least and more often than not (I won't name the nation) but lots of time I have been left to wait for time to run out when the game is lost. I have stated here before that sometimes I would be playing low rated players, dominating the game (not like a GM hehehehe) then a pause, and BAM the guy players 10 times better, all from certain nations... so I rather not play those players. Nothing discrimatory, some have the best food for example.

So you're pro-life, huh? Makes sense since you're discriminating against players from a country
I am pro-life... got nothing to do with being forced to play a game of chess with someone.

You know, if that were the case I guess I wouldn't have grounds to stand on here

What is the point to talk with us? Just talk to chess.com itself 😑
You have a point but I figure I get the opinions of others. Thanks.

Seems absurd to me. Aborting for idiosyncratic 'reasons' is just rude. And regarding 'nationalism' at chess.com, you can select internationale if you want, unless I'm mistaken. It sounds very cosmopolitan, but if you aren't scared of coming off as a modernist it should help.

Not really when you think about it. It is a game and everyone's should have an option to choose whether they feel like playing the next player or not. I feel that no one should feel offended thus the rule should not apply. I guess chess.com has a different view. Imagine you go to the chess park and challenge a player. If the player simply does not want to play you somehow that's wrong. I do not see the point to that. There should be no consequences to that. Basically, everyone should deserve the right to abort a game when seeing fit. Now... quitting or stalling or abusing an opponent once the game has started is another subject.

Aborting because of a certain metric will get one placed into the bad sports pool. Simply because saying someone is too low, too high, or has the wrong colored flag is rude and unsportsmanlike.
