I'm a bit new to chess. Can a king move in the attacking line of a piece if that piece cannot move to capture the king because it is absolutely pinned?
So, in the hypothetical scenario below, with white to move, can the king legally take the pawn? Thanks. I assume it's not legal, but I want to make sure.
