"thank you" to Sergey Karyakin for the complaint he filed a week ago with the Federal Service for Supervision of Mass Communications

" Russian grandmaster Sergey Karyakin called on Roskomnadzor to block the world's leading chess website chess.com. The chess player wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

Karyakin said that in the first days of the special operation in Ukraine, the administration of the portal sent him an email stating that he no longer had the right to participate in prize tournaments on the site.

“Chess.com has gone crazy. The world's leading chess portal is forcibly replacing the Russian flag for all our chess players! Instead, a link to an offensive propaganda article,” Karjakin added.

In his opinion, the portal should be filled with complaints and transferred to other sites. The chess player also noted that a complaint should be sent to Roskomnadzor with a request to study the site's activities.

Karyakin added that he asked to recognize his message in Telegram as an open appeal to Roskomnadzor. "
