I guess cheating is one of the most frequent, for all I know possibly the most frequent, reason for closing an account. To quote TOS: "You agree that Chess.com may, with or without cause, and without prior notice, immediately terminate your Chess.com account, any associated email address, and access to the Service. Chess.com may terminate with or without cause at any time and effective immediately, at Chess.com’s sole discretion, including but not limited to Member's failure to conform with these terms and conditions of the Agreement."
Then follows, among other things, rules about member conduct, "You agree to not use the Service to:"
and then follows a long list of things you are not suposed to do.
Here is a link about how to recover a closed account, I haven't read all of it or attempted to recover an account myself, but post 16 seems to be most relevant ( I only read the first page).
So kind of you to have spent time in sharing the message.
Now I understand his account is auto-disabled due to the reason mentioned above.
Then why does a staff say he closed the account himself?
Guys, look at post #13.
