Not quite what you asked for, but interesting in its own right.
Accuracy % by Chess Rating?

Are there any statistics that show the average accuracy % for each 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800 rating?
Are higher rated players more accurate or is accuracy % too dependent on an opponents move to even matter. Thanks and sorry if this was asked before.
This is a bit old now, so there may be some better data, but I'm not aware of anything newer.

Interesting to see top level, but am also curious about lower-rated average accuracy (or thereabouts). I find a huge difference in accuracy between my wins and losses, but I assume that is due to most games at my level being lost by a big blunder or mistake

Accuracy does not determine rating as I know multiple people who's rating is 1900 yet they have 95% and there are grandmasters who have 80%. The 1900 knows how to play easier lines accurately while the GM plays novelties that result in lower accuracy from both sides as it is more complex.

Cannot violate the uncertainty principle. Measuring your logistic curve position, aka rating, by playing the game causes it to change.

How would one best practice to get ones accuracy up? I've just broken through 1000 and my accuracy is lacking at around50-60% and my opponents are around 60-80%

Rating is a big lie, it's made so you become premium and think that you are going to learn to be a better player..WATCH OUT!!!!

"Ratings" were used before the Internet even existed.
