what do you mean by "adoption" and "chicken" ?
Adoption or chicken?
what do you mean by "adoption" and "chicken" ?
adoption = 10 wins in a row
chicken = they quit after 3+ games
Maybe they didn't know what adoption is and just wanted to play? or maybe they resigned seeing that they weren't going to win anytime soon?
Just let it go. So what if you didn't adopt him, 6-0 is still awesone score against him and that should be enoguh. I wouldn't call him chicken neccesary, maybe he just got board beaten up by you and thats ok. I would call him a chicken only if he broke some kind of agreement/deal to play as you would say until adoption. Thats my view on this.

Recently a 2100 (2000 on a tilt) clapped @thunderstorm74 in atomic so I thought it would be funny if I adopted all of thunder's opponents.
So I found that guy in a game and when he was done I asked 'wanna play until adoption?'
And he accepted my game invite without saying anything, so I assume that's a yes.
.
So I played with that dude and I was winning 6-0 when he randomly left the server and didn't come back for 5 days. I haven't seen him in a while so ig our duel is over.
Since he left without saying anything, is that adoption?
Or is he just a chicken? Cos if he's a chicken then he can just decline all of my invites so that it's impossible for me to adopt him right?
I think you're acting like an idiot with him as apparently he did nothing to you?
1. First of all, he doesn't necessarily read your chat messages before accepting a match
2. Secondly, he has the right to leave whenever he wants
3. Third, if you really feel the need to post about this with this title and still call the guy a chicken, I think you need some help.
Adoption. Why does it seem so important to you? If you’re clearly better that your opponent why not just move on to someone more closely competitive to you? Why would you publicly call him out “chicken”?

I was just wondering
and I didn't give a username
Just be careful, it is easy to research your games to find that out. That is the public side of the site and hence my comment.
They're prolly deleted from my archive by now cos chess.com doesn't store old games and I've played smth like 300 since then.
Well, just offering a word of caution. You joined in May and have 300 games, all there for anyone to view. Enjoy the day.
