I need some advice if you check my ratings. Anything will help.😛
ChessOfPlayer

Concentrate on one move at a time.  Advice I could give myself.

Darylprater

The tactics trainer helped me a lot. I was bad at first, but I kept doing them and found them fun. And they helped me see good movies in my games.

Also just stick with the basics, develop your minor pieces and attack the center.

TargetPoint
Ok. But I'll probably buy diamond too.
CookedQueen

Try harder, dig harder!

TargetPoint
Try harder, dig lower. got it!

before you make a move check to see if it is "safe", by that I mean can the opponent take it for "free".....also pay attention to your opponent's moves....ask yourself, "what was thepurpose of that move" every time they move...and as already mentioned...don't play any games shorter than 15 minutes each when you are just starting out.

Carving01
Don't play fast games . watch John Bartholomew videos on YouTube.

I have lessons even though I have no membership
TargetPoint
P.s maybe I could play someone step by step explained?
CookedQueen

yeah, a diamond member ship is worth gold or even diamonds

TargetPoint
No, I'm trying it for a month.
The_Chin_Of_Quinn

I'll play you and talk a little bit about why I made a move, or something about your move if you want.

TargetPoint
I've messaged you regarding this.
The_Chin_Of_Quinn

Ok, I replied.

CookedQueen

So TargetPoint has messaged and The_Chin has replied.

That's good news!

The_Chin_Of_Quinn

Well he didn't reply, so I didn't know if he was too new to the site to find messages again tongue.png
