So what's your advice for intermediate players who are stuck at 1000 - 1200 elo and could not make much progress ?

Analyze your games and find your weaknesses.

Solve chess puzzles on the regular.

Consume good sources like for example GM Naroditskys Speedruns on YouTube, good books for example on endgames, study openings, etc
