I played a 2600 opponent in a recent game
I resigned in 3rd move for no reason due to panicking
I hope that helps

Take a break, slow down, and relax. Walk outside if you need to, and then go ahead and play. You have the momentum, keep it.

Playing it at midnight is probably a bad idea. I will wake up tmrw make some coffee, solve some homework, get mentally prepared and hopefully I get the job done. Thank you for the advice🙏

I am one game away from 2400 blitz and Im so nervous its actually insane. My heart rate has to be higher than 200🙏 . Any idea how I can focus on the game and forget the stakes?
I almost puke if playing anyone over 1200 so yeah ... what helped me was some good breathing exercises. Tried many books and techniques and best technique is book:
Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art Author is Nestor
IIRC, I read someplace that even Masters suffer same thing. Knowing they are scared would help ME (not that I'd ever be in THAT position). Another technique I learned from years ago, picture them in their underwear or with food between their teeth.
Good luck to you - you seem so very nice.

Your nerves will go down when you have more experience, there’s nothing too much you can do to stop your nerves 100%
I find scotch helps me immensely when i play.
When you first said Scotch, I thought you meant as in the opening Scotch Game which is my prime opening. So funny!

Ofc but I wanna relax atleast abit. Nervousness never leads to good chess

It depends on the person how they relax

Im 15🫠. 10 is craaazy
Sorry for the error. I must have misread your Home Page!
Take deep breaths. Turn your game face on. But last but not least... Play your heart out
Is this a general zod refrence?
I tried doing this when I was xx92 and then lost
I think it's better to do it when you're on a streak already
Hopefully it works though
