I´m in my mid-30´s and still don´t know how to play.... if you mean when did i learn to move pieces, i was about 5-6 i think.

I learned how the pieces move when I was a teenager, but I didn't learn anything about the game until I was going to university.
so, how young were you when you first learned to play chess?
