I for one wouldn’t recommend Aids though admittedly don’t have personal experience.

That's like going to a chess tournament, and then after each of your opponents' moves, going to another room and studying the position using books, trainers, Fritz, etc.
In other words, it's not YOU playing the game. It's the engine.
you can learn a lot from these aids. me im just like you all natural

I'm a new member,love the site by the way.Inching around.Started playing chess again after a looooong layoff,as my record shows.When i play,it's just me V my opponent.I dont use any of the outside help available-mentor,game explorer,books etc,as i consider this a form of cheating.Dont know if my opponents use help(shouldn't need to against me).Am i being an idiot or a wannabe purist?
