Amar Opening - bête noire of Chess Players?

Analogous to the Drunken Opening (where player opens with Na3), Amar Opening commences with Nh3, which is quite a bad move because it develops the knight away from the centre. This is also the reason why this opening is also recognised as Ammonia Opening, as Nh3 strikes resemblance to the chemical formula of Ammonia.

This is particularly an opening that I am most familliar with, since my father taught me about castling on one side and using pieces on the other side to attack.

But to be honest, I have never seen this "bizzare" opening in any professional chess matches or tournaments. With a view to learning how players capitalised on its advantages and offsetted its drawbacks, I desperately hope you can introduce me to several games that feature this opening.

I would be highly obliged to your responses.

Wow, despite the fact that I have played this kind of board-game for quite a long time, your introduction to this opening just broadens my horizons, buddy. At first glance, I supposed it was a weak and nonsensical move, but after your explanation, this opening does not seem that bad as you might say !

One advantage worth mentioning is that it works quite well in speedy matches, since it can "freeze" your opponents to calculate and analyze in some initial moments, causing them confusion and giving you time-advantage for free. The second thing is that it plays an important role as a distraction factor, forcing your opponents constantly choose the right moves to avoid your attacking side and probably derailing their chance of wining afterwards.

Anyway, I truly appreciate you sharing us this opening, its intriguing name related to chemistry, (which is not my fav happy.png) and your father-son story behind it.
P/s: really impressed by your English grammar and vocabulary, dude !

Omg, I am elated to hear that. I am really appreciative of your comments, which I would definitely incorporate into a panoramic vision of the chessboard.
