Americans do not give rematch

Yeah, Ask Bobby Fischer, he lost his crown because he refused to play. Typical American

And yet more people know who Bobby Fischer was than Boris or Anatoly, or possibly even Garry. Heck, I bet more people in the world would recognize the name Bobby Fischer than Magnus Carlsen.

As I said before. Again after 2 years this:

I've said it in the past, after some reactions I thought maybe it was just me. But again after numerous new games I'm 100% sure, from all the nations on earth, americans(although a nation that I admire) because somekind of unknown reason, always run off the tables after a game. No matter win or lose, they always run. Don't know what's the reason, such a great nation, but in chess I guess they are just cowards...

Imagine admiring america rn. You're high you're so high

Why do rematches matter? It doesn't matter who you're playing against. A game is a game.

The only people who seem to care about rematches are those who get their egos bruised when they lose.

Keep in mind that it's just a board game ...

I just play for the fun of it.

The ratings dont matter to me

I really should stop accepting rematches...

I usually don't rematch because I'm at work and someone is standing in my doorway staring at me.

The only reason I'm playing against a human in the first place is because the interface had me thinking I was going to be playing a game against a bot.  For example, today I accidentally accepted two games against humans because Komodo8 seems to be missing.  I'm sure not going to rematch when I didn't even want the first game!

Don’t want to speak for all Americans but I don’t ask or accept rematches for:

1) I like to glance over the game immediately afterwards

2) If I lost I find it rude for someone to want to play again.

3) If I won I want to play someone else

You’ve been at this for ten years at least; I’ve been studying for five months. Give me another year or two, and I am confident your statement will be proven false.

You may well become a much better player than me, and maybe in quicker time than a year.

But will you be a better person ? That should be your measure.

Because he is the GOAT.
