An unpleasant comment!

Bryan,
Hi........it's just me - Lola.
There's some ppl on this site w/ their shades drawn tite. Don't turn their way. Some a these smalltowners only have enuf electricity for their 9 to 5 day.
I'd take u rollerskating tonite if I could. U know those type a wheels that flash fun colors as it would ?....u know, get u out & about as u should ?
You'll be a octogramps soon. And I'd letchu squeeze my hand a weebit tighter under the mirrorballed room....since it's a smooshy soft by now.
But I promise u some thing. I'll make u joysqueal as your dentures loosen their grip. And w/ a little help from you know what for ?....we'd rollerwhip u around a razorsharp corner to Andrea True's More More More. Your hair (well, what's left of it) will blow wildly w/ excitement as u dreamily trade places w/ Apollo Ono.
And when it's all over ?....it'll all have been one big waste a time....fun, yes....but a waste a time....nonetheless.
....kinda like chess.
And that's when the real fun begins....when me & Cookie slowly unlace your skates.
Luv & from my <3....L

Not a Female! I don't know where that came from. I am a Guy; old, yes, decrepit yes, but most surely a Guy and enjoying playing chess more and more. I tend to lose more games than I win just now, but having not played chess for so many years I guess that is to be expected. I am improving though and play pretty well most of the day; it is amazing how fast time passes now.

I am 70 or will be shortly anyway, and I play here to enjoy the game. I too have suffered abuse, and complained to no avail. As with any with any competitive games there are always a**holes, is just part life. Enjoy your games, and be happy.

There are so many cocky evil people nowadays from around the world. Most of them are young I guess. Just report them, Sir/Madam to the Admin. P.S. This has to asked: What do parents, TV, and/or teachers teach kids nowadays?

Pardon me for skipping the whole thread. I thought it only has two replies so I instantly pushed the reply button. I SUCK!

Yes, you're still just 69. So I wouldn't suggest u push it. I'll be 42 on Halloween & I myself am starting to play my little game w/ #'s & the ears on ppl.
And as far as renaming anonymous some ones a certain place of no return & retention ?....try saying it w/ a lisp....it's funnier that way.

I did say that I would not enter further comments but having read some of the postings I felt one last comment would not hurt. I have no previous experience of forums and I now realize that even though I was feeling a bit down in the dumps, I should not have have opened my thoughts. I surely have a lot to learn.
I will not go into detail because it would serve no purpose; suffice it to say that for the past 18 months my existence has revolved around a daily trip to the Supermarket and daytime TV. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say; well yes, but it sure is a lonely and boring existence. Then I discovered Chess.com. I got very into it and despite those out there who I guess will always seek hidden meanings, it literally did give me a new lease of life. I am guessing that the "doubting Thomas's" out there are comparatively young and leading full lives and that is how it should be. But unless you are stricken by some terminal illness, or are involved in a fatal accident; (which I do not wish on any of you) you will probably grow old.
And let me tell you; old age is no picnic. One of my aged friends said that he knew old age had set in when his back went out more than he did. George Burns put it another way. He said that the first sign of old age is when you forget to pull your zipper up; the second sign is when, you forget to pull it down. Personally I consider it a red-letter day when I remember what it is that I was looking for.
have you seen that movie called "The Bucket List"
or the movie "Going in Style"
i think i saw you in it
