Conversation went from criminal charges to moving mountains? Nice
Andrew Tate a Chess Champion?
The number of downvotes on the third comment is astounding
A few individuals must have really gone at it making multiple accounts in parallel or serially just to downvote. Tate means so much to some. But unlike reactions we can't actually see who voted.
nope, chess.com easily detects multiple accounts like that.
Your faith should move mountains
you should go make multiple chess.com accounts and go upvote that comment then lmao
Being able to doesn't mean I would or should. We obviously have different sense of ethics.

i mean you're the one who really thinks that some people are making a ton of multiple accounts to downvote that post when it's a pain to do so. or you can just accept the fact that it really did get downvoted by that many different people.
I have to agree with our imperial biscuit friend. The use of VPNs can disguise sources so that the IPN of your or my computer can be used to generate multiple accounts. I can easily see trolls wasting their obviously worthless time doing this. I doubt that so many actual individuals bothered to downvote that post.

You don't seem too aware of the number/ratio of posters around here who are repeat accounts. Ironic, given your history? Cheaters make new accounts every few days, and, amazingly enough, cheaters think that rules should only apply to other people, which gives them a large overlap with trolls. It only takes a a couple of dweebs from some high school chess club who habitually cheat and have some reason not to like MorningGlory to build up that many downvotes over time using their weekly banned bot accounts that they are creating anyway. Not much extra work involved if you only downvote a couple of posts on page 1.
I mean, let's turn this around. You really think that those posts on the first page garnered that many downvotes organically? Show *any* other thread where downvotes approach 100 on any posts, and I will be happy to point out the differences in behavior.
If your premise is that Tate is 20 times more popular and so this thread has more downvotes as a result, then where are the extra downvotes from page 2 onward? Or do you think that perhaps Tate supporters have super-short attention spans and don't like to read? Or perhaps that this thread is posted on some Tate-supporting website somewhere? I would buy that, I guess, if there were still diminishing number of downvotes as the pages went along...but they drop off to normal levels almost immediately after page 1...and the downvotes are still trickling in at a very consistent rate, which belies being posted elsewhere for attention, which tends to draw spikes of activity.
chess.com can easily determine whether it is the same computer being used even if you change your ip with vpn
Not from a browser. Why do you think that chess.com cannot prevent return cheating accounts and needs to detect them all over again? If you were playing chess and posting from installed software or an installed app, then you can look at things like hardware addresses, etc. Chess.com cannot leave the browser sandbox any more than other websites can. They have your IP and whatever browser profile information you filled out, as designed.
An installed browser that passed along more than this would be out of business in no time flat, as cybersecurity professionals would have a field day posting blog articles about it. There are a non insignificant amount of people that monitor everything leaving their firewall(s). You should probably pack this in.
A browser is not much different than a operating system nowadays. There are obviously exploits which is why you can still get malware through browsers. Not to mention I don't think browsers try very hard to make sure that webpages can't track if the same browser is being used or not.
Lol. No. A browser is nothing like an OS. About all you can say about both is that they are hopelessly bloated because many developers nowadays suck and don't understand the protocol layers they are sitting on top of (or under, for that matter).
The suggestion that chess.com could/should use exploits to get out of the browsers' sandboxes is ridiculous. They would get caught, just like script kiddies trying to hack your browser, but the consequences of publicly being named as a top 100 website that uses exploits to gather identifying data about you that they are not supposed to have would be dire.
all i can say is that there are clearly a ton of trolls in this thread
Yes we heard you the first time
Tate has 4 kickboxing world championships, multiple wives, multiple successful businesses and kept an athletic figure. He's rich, he has a platform and he is a happy, moderate and well reserved / groomed person.
He has followers because women want him and men want to be like him, and he's nice enough to give some pointers.
Normal. He's an alpha male.
multiple wives...
yeah, that sounds successful.
i didn't know so many want to be like the alpha you describe. sitting in jail. you *might* be one of the few "women" that admires him, but i don't know many ladies wanting a man that is in prison, or, men pining to be like one.
i tend to agree with the others that think you are just a troll.
People who ARE something don't need to prove it to everybody by ostentatious display. People who try to impress everyone with how much money they have and how much they can waste are insecure, pathetic and laughable.
THIS.
jordan has never said he was the best basketball player. bo jackson never said he was the best athlete. jim brown, gordie howe, bill russell, ted williams, gretzky...
if you are the best, or, among the best, you don't ever need to say it.
chess.com can easily determine whether it is the same computer being used even if you change your ip with vpn
haha! are you talking about this site? the one we're currently on?
they can't function correctly on any given day, and you're claiming they might be using resources to determine the laptop/ipad/phone/pc being used.
you would have been great as a consumer in glengarry glen ross.

Evolution has happened over thousands of years.
There are clear Ws and Ls.
You're welcome to cope and rationalize.
Why are you here instead of supporting Tate? Maybe offer yourself to become one of his cam girls so you make him money to pay for the legal fees? There's, like, absolutely nothing preventing you from doing that.
At least it'd be of your own free will, something that cannot be said of the women he enslaved.
How, exactly, does one "have" women? I "have" a laptop. This means I "own" a laptop. Did/does li'l Tater own women? Or do they just stick to him like burrs on a poodle?
To all you Tate fanboys and fangirls (if any):
What you have to realise about manipulative conmen and charlatans like him is that they secretly despise their followers.
Sure, they want a following that they can convert into money and influence. But don't overlook that a grifter always has contempt for his victims. Your loyalty to him and regard for him are not reciprocated in any way. It's just another way you've been duped.

So if I don't kill I can't kill. If you can't, then no one else can.
Mountains are already in motion
