Android Pixel XL Selecting Pieces

Hi, I recently updated my Android phone to a Google Pixel, and there's a difference from my previous Android phone.
When I'm doing tactics and I touch a piece, a zoomed in version of the piece appears above my finger (similar to how most keyboards work with letters). It's somewhat distracting. Is there a known setting for changing this?
