So I played a game against a "gentleman" who blundered early in the match, then seeing his mistake made four negative staments against himself before I cleaned the board with him. He wanted a rematch so and I accepted. The second game ended with me playing a flawless game and him resigning then insulting me. What gives? I get pissed at corrupt governments, greedy people, and jealous lovers; yet to rage at an individual over a game that does not affect your offical rating seems a wee bit pathetic. I was wondering if this site had any way of filtering out these pedantic children. If not then maybe create a Hall of Zero's to honour our sad whiners. Speaking for myself; bring it on, I'm not affraid to loose.
For me, when I get a "hurry up" message, I don't necessarily close the chat, but I will most certainly take all the time I am allotted. Does this make me a jerk? Maybe, but chess is a psychological game, and over the internet sometimes it's hard to know your opponents psyche. If one of my opponents wants to let me know that I am doing something that might cause them to make a mistake, I'm inclined to take advantage of that knowledge.
