Animated Moves?

This is not a really big deal as it has to do with the looks of the board online, but I think it would be neat if "animated moves" would be an option (when the pieces slide to their position rather than instantly jumping).  I was analyzing games on winboard and then looked at my moves on chess.com, and the animated moves just look smoother.  Is this difficult to do?  Any other thoughts?

If they implement this, it should defintly be optional.

I think, if it is possible to implement it, it will have to be through Flash. The current implementation appears to be in Javascript. So redoing the whole website just to implement animation does not appear economic to me... especially as there are lot of free members like me!
