Annotating a game I have played.
Thanks, Jim. It seems I can do it with Fritz 12 but I just can't work it out.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
One last plea for help. Can anyone tell me how to use Fritz 12 to import a game I have played, write comments about my moves and save and send to someone else? Does noone ever do this?
You can actually do it right in PGN format if you don't mind an ugly UI. Just grab notepad, text editor or any program like that, open up the file, and write in your annotations. Here is an example: (Taken from "The blunder gland" article on chess.com) . Just follow the format using { text here } in your PGN file. Then save the file and you are all set. (Also, most graphical interfaces should let you do it without using a text editor. I use Sigma Chess for Mac, and i can copy and past or import PGN files, type them up, and save them)

Hey, you lose everything if you take too long making your comment. This doesn't matter if it's a chess game being annotated or not.

Hope someone can advise me.
I would like to annotate a game I have played on chess.com, move by move and then send it to someone else on chess.com. When I tried to do that earlier, and clicked Send, the message never went and the game I had spent over an hour annotating was lost. Here's what I did: I clicked on the chessboard in the left corner of the message box and inserted my PGN. Then i worked through the game typing as I went along. I saved the game and it appeared to be in the body of the message, ready to send. I clicked Send and the entire box went blank and I could not retrieve it. Very frustrating. So...
...what I want to do is to be able to save my chess.com game onto my PC, work on it offline and then save it so that I keep my annotated game. I would then like to send it to someone either via chess.com messages or via email.
Ideally I would like to be able to go through half the game, save and maybe come back later for the second half so as not to rush. I have Fritz 12 on my PC but have not had chance to use it much yet and certainly don't know how to use it for this. Any ideas anyone?
