I play what you describe in the 3rd diagram. You definitely need to check out this video I made on this variation I play a lot because it describes in-depth the main differences I've found with Nge2 versus Nf3.
What I recommend is not being too rigid about playing your setup. I go for Nge2 in many cases, but some I play Nf3 if they play differently.
Against the Janowski, I would enjoy seeing their passive ...a6 move and you can continue with cxd5 ...cxd5 Bf4 and you have the option of Nf3 or your regular Nge2 ideas.
In the second diagram, that is an old variation and a fun way to play against as you can see from my game against Holly bot:
I play the QGD exchange with Ne2 and really like it but black has a few lines that are really annoying. First is the Janowski.
I cant continue with my idea of cxd5 and Bg5 so I have to play lines with Nf3. Which I don't like. If you guys know a way to still get this line please show. Second is the 3...Be7 line.
This also stops my idea and I cant find a way to avoid the boring Nf3 lines. If you guys don't know what I'm talking about this is the line I'm trying to get
