Annoying tactics puzzle

 Am trying to get my tactics rating back over 2000 and annoying ones like the following are not helping

What's wrong with that one? Is there another line that is just as good as the solution? Maybe I'm missing something

It is annoying because there is no indication that there is an en passant available, and when you have a very limited time to do them it is the last thing thats considered, by then there no points left.

 Had a very low pass rate that one, much lower than normal so I am not the only one who struggled with it

Ah. I could clearly see the pawn move and the starting and destination squares are clearly highlighted on the website. If you have Highlight Last Move turned off in your Board and Pieces settings for the board, then I can see that being harder, if the animation was too fast or you managed to miss it..

Ahh that is the problem I think, seeing the previous move would have alerted me too the en passant especailly as there was nothing much else going on in the position

They should add the go back 1 move feature like  [Do not advertise other chess sites - Mod.] tho.

Yes it would help.   When I went back in I noticed the previous move does flash up, at the start of the puzzle, I should pay mmore attention to it. Normally rushing to try and solve as quick as possible.

  Finally back over 2000  struck a few easier ones
