Another poor game, any advice?

Hi all,
 
I'm not happy with the way this game went - mostly because of my idiotic move at the end.
 
Any advice appreciated.

Try to start your game with g3. That way , your queen and king may remain safe , or after the opening you could've just castle .

Tadeous, listen man, as long as you learn from your loss as you are clearly doing by posting here and asking for advice, it is not a "poor game". Keep you chin up, pal. This is my best advice. 

 

You don't want chess advice from me. 

 

Oh and "don't take any wooden nockels"

I agree with NM ghost‘s comment. Don‘t forget that your opponent is allowed to move too! Making 3 move plans which rely on your opponent not trying to stop them is not gonna take you far.
