Well first off.. i was premium member..
there is a thing called going on vacation and not wanting to buy premium member... wasting 5 bucks?
Its called getting premium member when i get back from vacation.

I was wondering what should be done about people who start threads to ask silly questions about vacations and then when they don't get the answers they like they delete all their posts in a huff! What can we do about people like this?

Well this isnt really a question about sometihng on the website if you know what i mean :P
But the best thing you can do about these people is message them your concerns and tell them not to do it again..
its not really an offence to delete their posts.. and i dont really find it offensive but the best advice i can give you is to tell them your concerns.

Do you have any rules of thumb about moving your queen for the first time, other than: don't bring the queen out early? Think about it: we have rough guidelines about where and when to move the bishops, knights, and rooks, but nothing of the kind for our strongest piece. In some openings, she moves on the 4th or even 3rd move; in others, it would be crazy to touch her until halfway through the middlegame. So my question: when you are about to move your queen for the first time, are there any rules of thumb that flash before your mind (eg, "It's generally bad to put my queen in x position when y is the case"), or is it all about the specific position you are in?

For me its all about the specific position you are in, if i wanted to move my queen somewhere (yes it is usually in the middlegame, never in the opening unless my opponent messes up the opening and it forces me to move queen out), i would check if the queen can attack various pieces and if its active, being on the side and kinda trapped would not be a good spot because it is inactive and i will lose the game like that.
So its all about the position, if im gonna move my queen, i find its best square where it protects various pieces, and attacks important squares where my opponent has to move his pieces to protect the piece being attacked by the queen (my opponent wasting a move because of this) then i can begin a combition/tactical blow/attack/or continuing developing with rooks etc..

But you do think it is a pretty stupid thing to do don't you!?

Sometimes white will play Qc2 on move 4 in the Nimzo-Indian, in order to defend the Knight. So is that an opening line you avoid, simply because you prefer to leave her on D1 (D8) until the middlegame? That is an interesting rule in itself (obviously not one that every good player would adhere to).

Well if it is in the opening books to move the queen, then it is no threat to move the queen. But it is bad to move the queen in weak openings (1. e4 e5 2. Qf3..) But if its on good openings like nimzo-indian then i see NO problem moving your queen. Just make sure you move your queen if its based on openings, if your gonna break the opening i highly recommend you not to move your queen.

I don't know what flags, only you can answer that. As for who is looking at who, well the question must be why are you following me about?
This is at least the second time you have newly posted in a thread with the sole purpose of trying to put me down...My guess is that you feel that in some way I have had the better of you in some past exchange (which is true, for me you are like a fish in a barrel...lol, actually not just for me....you would be like a fish in a barrel for most people on here! LOL) and you are desperately trying to save face! Judgeing on your past and current efforts, I would suggest you save yourself from further embarrassment and give up! LOL
