i'm not sure but i'd say no.  not sure how they could be erased.  but he would no longer be able to post anything from then on.  it's a pretty powerful option if you really don't want to interact with someone.  it was done to me by AWARDCHESS.  i bagged on that dude (or chick) so much for his/her stupid threads...  so i got blocked.  pretty awesome.

I would like to ask how you become 'professional', 'titled' & what does FIDE or ELO Ratings mean?

You get Titled if you play in big events with CM's in it, NMs in it etc.. and if you get a good result in that tournament (Beating some CMs, or like getting first place, second, or third with like 5 CM's there). I really havent looked at this but from what i heard you get "titled" after getting a norm for Candidate Master and you need 3 norms, so participating in 3 major events with 3 good results (or beating a couple CMs) would get you a CM Norm.

But i believe if your rated like 2300 or something you automatically earn a title, but not sure which one. But you do need 3 IM norms, and 3 GM norms to get titled in those.

ELO rating shows you how strong you play chess, the higher you are the stronger your playing strength is.

In order to qualify for the title of Grandmaster of chess, a title awarded by FIDE, the World Chess Federation, a player must achieve two or more grandmaster norms in events covering a minimum of 27 games. Norms can only be gained in tournaments that fulfil FIDE's strict criteria; for instance, an International Arbiter must be officiating and the entry must include at least three GM titled players from different countries playing over a minimum of nine rounds, with no less than 120 minutes thinking time per round. There are a number of other more minor stipulations.

The 'norm' seeker must achieve a tournament performance rating (TPR) of at least 2600 to qualify.

There are also norm requirements for the titles of International Master, Woman Grandmaster and Woman International Master

I am a class A player and need a new tactics book.  I currently only have one tactics book and I can easily solve all the problems quickly.  I would like a difficult tactics book that has realistic positions and that does not have very much explanations at the end.  Also I want a book that has many many problems so I can go over it several times.

so i really dont have a clue what book would be  good for you,

They wait untill more people join, or maybe the staff would play them.

Im sure Chess.com advertised on many sites and more then 1 person join in a time limit of 15 minutes.

 Try the Livshitz series, Test Your Chess IQ. The last in the series is Grandmaster Challenge, as I recall.

These are presented as a series of 8 test positions from real games, and you are given quite a bit of time to solve all 8. If you take these seriously, your ability to patiently calculate will be tested and exercised.

Try book #2. I am about the same strength as you and I find a good blend of success and failure in it. It really does provide good sessions of hard work.

I have two quite different recommendations:

1. Lowest $/tactic goes to 5334 Problems, Combinations, and Games by Laszlo Polgar - yes, the daddy of the three sisters. You can find this book for less than 6 USD on Amazon, and
2. Most challenging / $ goes to Krogius' volume entitled Encyclopedia of Chess Middlegames: Combinations, and there are a few copies used at Amazon's 3rd party sellers.

These are my recommendations, but there are hundreds of others, I would presume.
