Hello,

so I wanted to make this post to get maybe an answer.

I am playing chess on chess.com for a while now and i invited my dad and my uncle to this. We played a lot in the past when I was junger. So my dad and uncle are pretty good and we only play against each other and other friends.

Today I got a message from my father, that he got banned and that’s where my question comes in.

Why, because I now that he doesn’t cheat. We played like 60 games and he is sending me photos and giving me advices. I don’t understand it.

I looked at his game and he definitely cheated, the fair play team saw that so they banned him. His games are either inhumanly perfect or just straight up a terrible

The site only bans accounts when they are certain of unfair play. However, the site will only discuss with the impacted account owner and not with other members. So your father could open a ticket with support, if all games were played fairly, and request an appeal.

That said, the site doesn't allow discussions of cheat detection or potential cheating in the main forums. If you would like to discuss further, you can join the following club.
