This is a post mainly for erik and the staff at chess.com, but you can post on it if you want. I must complement you on the great website you run but is there any chance of running a team chess option? Like a tournament but you have teams with knockouts and swiss and other formats like that? Also just another idea A Chess.com knockout cup, with a format similar to that of the FA cup in England, a strait Knockout cup with an open Rating rage? Just an idea...
