Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest! What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal?

I rage bait my opponent and partner in bughouse by developing my king

Original post, or original poster.

Don’t rage-bait your opponents.

That's not what chess is about.

When I read this post, I automatically read it in my mind in that guy's voice from the video of him getting arrested, while he says this. It's a pretty funny video that one. I remember seeing it years ago somewhere.

Why would you go out of your way to antagonise people for no reason?

If that's what you do "for fun" then I feel sorry for you.

I feel sorry for YOU. What kinda person says something like that?

Because I think deliberately antagonising people, for no reason, is pathetic behaviour.

It's actually kinda fun, ecspecially if you do it to an enemy of yours. But, of course, what would you know about fun?

how would you feel if someone rage baited you?

Resign in a bughouse game.

One method I've seen is to wait until you have an M1. Right before you play the checkmate offer a draw to your opponent, then play the move before they can accept it. I first saw this method used in a bullet game I was spectating between two GMs.

Something I used to do is that if I was completely winning and my opponent didn't resign, I would start taking extra time and it would piss them off. Like if I was up a lot of material I would start spending like 30 seconds to a minute on each move (if I had the time ofc) even when the position was obvious to play in and most of the time they would just resign lol. It's even funnier the more obvious the move is, like for example if you just have kings but you have a passed pawn that can obviously queen you can like put 5 seconds in between each move to piss your opponent off and they might even call you a cheater lol one of my friends did that. Additionally the build in emotes can be really funny when used at the right time, like sobbing when you are winning, snoring when they are taking a long time, tongue and mustache emotes at random times for fun it definitely will upset a lot of your opponents if they see it

You could become good at chess and raise your rating to 2000. That would be pretty effective.

but that's not as fun
