So basically chess.com provides you with the ability to play all the chess you want and pays for all the support staff and servers to allow you to do this, and you can’t be bothered to at least watch an ad to help contribute a few pennies to the effort?

If you can’t buy a membership, maybe ask @52yrral for a membership, Larry won’t gift you a 1-year membership, but he SHOULD give at least 3 months membership. Usually gifts gold, but gold membership still removes ads.
