If i got sick of losing i would have quit this game years ago.  Losing goes with the territory.

If it were easy to win, there'd be no point. It wouldn't be fulfilling at all.

All the time, but I love to play this game anyway. Those feelings when you are in losing streak are terrible, but they are only temporary.

And besides, there is always someone who is better in chess than you, so you should take loosing as something that just belongs in this game.

If you’re on a losing streak. Gradually increase your skill against the computer then comeback in a week or two

Magnus disagrees

Yes, but he is not Carlsen. and besides, there is one player that Carlsen has never deafeated, and he is Jan Neponjastsi.

And at some point there will be someone better than Magnus.  There is always someone better.

For every game one person wins another loses. 50% win loss.

I might be wrong but I think to maintain a level/rating, you would have to win half of your games against people of the same rating. Therefore losing is half of what chess is.

I would be astonished if someone claimed that they don't mind losing.

(But then again, this is a chess.com forum, so I might not be that surprised)

losing should bother you. but I don't let it define me like I used to. I have gone from "I have to win because winning defines me." to..."crap....I lost." and then letting it go.
