Not if they can beat you just by putting lots of effort in. That's the whole point.

by the way im from mexico so i really dont get what "da" means i also dont know the word 'cud' that you use so often.I did klook them up but they dont seem to appear in the dictionary nor in wiki.
It's not a misspelling; it's an alternate.
Honestly BQ, I liked your last paragraph best. It made you seem kinda funky.
It's garbage isn't it?
"da" is a misspelling of the most common word in English: "the". Or it is Russian for Yes.
"cud" is a misspelling of "could".
These shortenings are a way for lazy people to type and save a few characters at the expense of every reader who now has to decipher the lazy type. I hate it.

I think most GMs start playing very young and I think this is important. When chilldren are taught a second language at a young age they pick it up must faster than adults or high school students. I think chess is a lot like learning a language in that exposure and immersion make for success.
I don't know how many GMs started playing seriously later in life. I saw a thead on here once about it but it was all full of trolls. I would be curious to learn some statistics or some anticdotes.
I was really into chess at age five. I wish I had stuck with it. Now I feel like I am trying to play serious catch-up just to become a mediocre club player.
Aha i get it..sort of.but we cud make it and beat these piple..and they drop to 2600 makin space in da 2700
