I got mine yesterday. I removed the locking screw on the bottom of the board, plugged it in, downloaded the Square-off App from the google play store, setup the pieces & turned on the board, opened the app & paired it with one touch on my phone. (no issues whatsoever) I started by playing black against the Square Off computer on level 1 and won easily. I played black 3 more times on subsequently higher levels and won all four games. This morning I will continue by starting on level 5. I was only ever rated at 1595 on Chess.com so I'm not that good, and I had not played any chess at all in over a year and a half so I feel rusty.
I came here to see if my Square Off games show up here, but the interface on C.C is different than I remember so I have not found what I was looking for yet. I came to the forum to find other Square Off users, to see if I can learn more about how the device works on C.C You are the first poster I found that knows anything about the device. I have yet to play a human through the device, & I know I have a lot to learn about the device. I will search more here, now, to see if there is help?
Sorry you are having issues, I don't know what else to tell you. Paring works fine for me so far. Best of luck with it, and ding me when you're up and running if you'd like to have a game.

Anyone with a Square Off board know how to put the board in bluetooth pairing mode? I can't seem to get it to connect to my mobile device. Thank you..
