I am really glad I signed up at this site years ago. There are so many positives worthy of mention such as: the user isn’t inundated with pop up ads like other web sites, they don’t try to sell you things constantly (I’m sure there is a section for this but I have never seen it or it’s not in their main page), they don’t over-police the chat during games especially and leave the auto mod on for profanity etc, they value all titles players (not just IMs and GMs), I feel more connected with the chess community than I do on other chess sites. Thanks guys I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here!

I like this site! But I have blocked over 250 knuckleheads!

I thought one could only block 200 people.

You do have to wonder where the OP's username came from...

You've probably heard the stories.

If you place a frog in water and slowly heat it up, the frog can't tell, even after it gets so hot that they die.

I haven't read it either.

I've also never killed a frog... stepped on a few accidentally while walking my dog... they're surprisingly stationary. You can poke them with your foot and they'll ignore it... so I've always wondered just how close I am to killing them whenever they jump and hit my leg trying not to get stepped on... I mean, was it under my shoe? Did it react that fast?

I'll never leave until I stop loving Chess.com...

Which may have already happened, but I'm not quite sure yet...

It's not very huggable.

Becoming a titled player at all is an enormous achievement that only a tiny fraction of chess players will ever accomplish so I would hope all titled players are valued everywhere.

In any case, I appreciate the positive vibes you're sending out.

And don't forget / Think about all the work and/or efforts they put here (tactics, puzzles, etc.).

Well I've been here less than three months having decided to play chess again after many years and I think it is superb.  Even what you can access for free is excellent.  So far I'm in a second month of diamond membership I've not yet paid for.  I'll certainly buy membership when it runs out.
