Sounds like a wonderful idea to have some light hearted fun in the community
I think it should be a limited time toggle-able settings instead of a blanket setting for everyone because some people might not like it

Ye it would be funny
I have an idea for April Fools next year! I want you all to tell me opinion on this idea: Chess.com could give all of the pieces googly eyes for a week or so (games like Overwatch 2 do this every year). I think it would be fun and entertaining (especially if the eyes jiggled as an animation of movement).
