Hi! I'm new here and I'm totally a beginner. Before playing against real people I would like to test my level with site CPU/Bots, but I don't know if the level number (you know, 250, 400, 700...) is accurate with ELO, despite of the fact that playing against CPU is always a world different than versus humans!
Thank you very much!
¡Hola!
¡Muchas gracias!
No, those ratings are considered seriously inaccurate. They are a training tool.
The games are not rated so the ratings do not adjust to appropriate levels. Rated computer play used to be available but there were problems with that too because some people would find out how to beat a bot and then play hundreds of games to boost their ratings.
If you want to know your level, you have to play rated games against a bunch of real players.
