I see someone else said the same thing in a new thread also.
It seems that there has been a change in TT.
End of thread as far as I am concerned, unless you want to talk about the weather.

Yeah, there have been many threads about TT lately. I agree with the sentiment of your first post. In general people get higher ratings now (more points gained on average)
This explains some of the recent changes: https://www.chess.com/blog/News/chess-com-dev-update-april-28-2017
The weather here is sunny and warm, how about there?

It is only now that I am trying TT. Will the problems get harder as I increased my TT rating?
As your rating increases, the TT problems' ratings will increase, too, on average
But the ratings fluctuate now more than before, for example if you were lets say 1500 you used to get 1400-1600 problems, while now you'll be getting 1200-1800 rating problems (those numbers I give are hypothetical, just to make a point)
I think tactics doesn't determine your overall ability; it doesn't mean anything. It does however strongly is your ability to calculate or see moves.
Memorization doesn't mean ability, either, or how good you are with
piece coordination is unrated to the above 2 and below 1; it's like an asset.
I think skill is the human ability to understand chess positions; this is the GM point of view.
I, too, have noticed a change in TT ratings. I am suddenly getting +15 or +18 when I solve one.
Cloudy and rainy here. Can't wait for the pleasant sunshine.
Scoring was altered so there is quite a bit of rating inflation. I've made it up to 2300, where historically the highest I had ever made it was 2100, and then for only a short time, averaging 1700-1900, depending on how my sessions went.
I imagine, we'll see at least one more tweak to the algorithm at some point. That said, as long as the trainer is giving you tactics that make you think, some you get right quickly , some you have to take some time on, some you fail, then it is useful. My last session I was doing better than my historical average, solving 64% of the last 25 correctly, but that was more due to me recognizing patterns and calculating the solutions.
Rating isn't that important and it really is there to provide a way to get tactics within your range.
Tactics which make you thin. Now, THERE Is an idea for people with a weight prob. Or they could just get out and about a bit in the bracing air over there.

Fixed
Same for me. I actually came on this forum looking for posts on the same issue, because I've been around 1750 for 2 months and I got to 2000 today in about 1 hour of tactics, without doing anything special. Not really convincing. It looks like the tactics ratings on chess.com already were overrated before, so now they are going to be still more.
Edit: 2 days later I am over 2100 in the TT ratings...
My Tactics Trainer rating -training every day for the last few months- has been fluctuating in the lower 1600's for the past month. But in the past week it has jumped about 120 points to 1770. In the past month my rating at chesstempo's trainer has been mostly in the upper 1600's and in the past week has jumped from 1690 to 1693.
If I only did the chess.com Tactics Trainer, I might fool myself into thinking I've had a breakthrough in ability. I wish, despite its faults, we could go back to the old method - it was more accurate in measuring skill.

Haven't realised that Eseles, (1200-1800??) - thanks for the heads up!
I wonder if that'll do any good though?
Lately, I have made some rapid gains in my TT rating. I would like to think that I may have improved, but to be honest, I suspect that, somehow, someone here is being nice to me.
It may be to do with V3, but whatever the reason, is there anyone else who is finding that the way TT is now working, that thay too are making rapid rating gains without being aware of any real improvement in their underlying performance?
